Brow Henna

Brow henna is the newest way to tint brows and skin for longer, without the harsh chemicals found in regular dyes. Brow henna contains hydrolyzed proteins, vitamin complex and anti-oxidants that helps to strengthen and restore hair growth and improve the natural condition of the eyebrow hair while giving a “tattoo-effect” on the skin. This makes it perfect for people who have sparse, over plucked brows or are curious about getting microblading but wish to test out a new brow shape first.

What is Brow Henna?

Brow Henna is a form of eyebrow staining made of a natural plant dye and is derived from a Henna Plant or Henna tree. The higher quality of henna is derived when extracted from the leaves and flowers of the henna plant, which offers far more superior skin stain or brow coloration. Brow Henna contains no ammonia, lead, or peroxide which helps to minimize the body’s natural absorption of harmful chemicals. Brow Henna provides a tinting of the skin that can last up to 1 week with proper care and 6 weeks on the hair itself. This service includes brow shaping via tweezing.

What to Expect at your Appointment

Your artist will begin by cleansing the brow area to get rid of all oils in order for the henna to penetrate better. Your brows will be tweezed and shaped. Your brow henna color will be chosen based off of your brow goals, as well as your skin type and tone. Your artist may also mix a customized brow color. Once the color has been mixed with its activator, your artist will carefully apply the henna and leave it on for the recommended time. A tingling sensation is normal and means that the henna is penetrating. Your brow henna will be removed with a dampened cotton round and you are ready to go to your event or vacation with beautifully shaped and long-lasting tinted brows!
